History
I originally purchased the base model SsangYong Korando as a value choice but after driving it for 6 months I found it to be a comfortable and practical vehicle for distance driving as much as local duties. So much so that I sold it privately in order to upgrade to the AWD top spec AWD diesel model. Ssangyong is an unknown Korean manufacturer with quality equal to Hyundai and Kia and price and warranty (7 yrs) to match. The colour was an emotive choice which requires regular washing to keep clean, even after ceramic coating, but that is the only negative. All of the modern technology and options in a very large mid-size SUV. If you are a family of tall people, this is the car for you with ample leg room front and back. No rear AC outlets may upset some although the front do a good job for the rear passengers. The top spec leaves nothing to add to the price because it comes with everything (other than maybe a tow ball).
