History
I bought this car 8 years ago as a dead stock Grand Touring model from Downunder Autos in Wangara. At the time I didn't realise that this was one of possibly only 3 in the country. These cars were on the SEVS permitted import list so i assumed someone had gone through the trouble of complying one and was importing them. As it turns out that wasn't the case and this car had been a personal import. There is another silver one in WA that has a different compliance plate to mine. That one was possibly brought in by Nissan for testing as if the G50 Q45 had sold better these were going to be their replacement as occurred in the US. The third one i saw for sale on gumtree in South Australia about 3 years ago. I don't know the current whereabouts of that car. I have been slowly adding Impul parts to my car starting with the bodykit. Impul sold a version of this car through select Japanese Nissan dealers or direct from their headquarters which could be optioned up from base to race.
Modifications
Impul 733S bodykit.
Impul velour sports seats. Possibly the only one of these Cimas with these as all the pics i have seen of Impul cars they have leather versions.
Impul Sports pedals.
BC coilovers supplied through Pedders who get all their coilovers made by BC. At the time BC didn't list a part for the Y33 Cima so i may have the first set they made. Now they sell a lot in the States who have lots of these cars badged as a Q45.
Multiple sets of rims. The ones in the pic above are Racing Sparco NS06 Cheetahs in 19x8.5+22 and 19x9.5+22 sizing. The first set of rims i got for it were Impul RS one piece cast(by Enkei) in 17x9+22 sizing. These probably started my Impul obsession. I also have some newer 6 spoke forged(by BBS) Impul RS in 18x9.5+20 sizing. I have yet to get a set of the Impul BBS M1 forged 3 piece mesh rims that came standard on the Impul 733S. Those are 18x9+25 front and 18x10+40 rear. I have bid on them unsuccessfully in the past but they rarely come up for sale now and the price is getting up towards that of new BBS rims.
