History
This car is one of the 120(possibly 140) series 2 G50 Nissan Infiniti Q45s sold here new. I originally bought this as a daily driver to use while i was getting panelwork done on my other V8 Nissan(FGY33 Cima) but found it is a lot more fun to drive and so the Cima stays in the shed most of the time now. When i bought it it already had a 3" single mandrel bent catback exhaust and some 17x8 CSA rims(long gone now) as well as some King's lowered springs. The front shocks were completely gone and i soon got tired of the front of the car bouncing off the road so the mods started with a set of K-Sport coilovers and some 17x8+32 and 17x9+35 Manaray Sport Euro edition mesh wheels. I still have those wheels but currently fitted are a set of Top Secret CV PRO R in 18x9.5+25 sizing with 245/40/18 Pirelli P-Zero front and 255/40/18 Falken 452 rears. Other than using it for daily driving i also take it to street drag meets( best time is 15.2@151km/h), local sprint events and on country road trips. Been down to Albany twice(first time for Motul Racewars 2017 where i did 191 km/h over the 1000m) and up to Kalbarri. Car can easily get 600kms out of a tank of fuel at country road speed limits. I am currently looking into more mods to make it quicker but i don't want to lose that long distance cruising ability so am choosing them carefully.
Modifications

K-Sport height and damper adjustable coilovers
Unknown brand strut brace(not technically correct as car has shocks, not struts but does stiffen up the front slightly)bought from UpGarage in Japan
Slotted rotors front and rear with factory 2pot front and single pot rear calipers. Fronts likely to be changed to 4pot Skyline/300ZX or aftermarket equivalent soon.
Nistune board fitted to a series one ECU(my car is a series 2) to allow programming of fuel and ignition.
K&N replacement panel filter.
Original BOSE sound system replaced(after starting to fail) with Sony double DIN head unit and (from memory) pioneer 6x9 rear and 6" front speakers.
