History
1939 1200cc Flathead U Model Haley Davidson California Highway Patrol Police Special - A period correct chopper built by myself (Speedy - Horsepower Hotrods Custom Cars & Bikes) over 20 years ago, Pre War Bike, Featured in many magazines and shows and taking prizes in all its catagorys, also featured in video clips and Ridden not Hidden.
Modifications
While the bike remained very perioud correct chopper, touches like fully polished engine cases (which are stamped California Highway Patrol 1939) Mid 40's service cart adjustible front end, Chopped down ducktail rear guard, 18 inch ape hangers, colour coated painted frame and tanks (Pearl Blue) Mikuni Carb, 3 inch open primary belt and still running origional 4 speed Tank shift and foot clutch transmission, and origional drum brakes, Custom made pipes & running a 21 inch front wheel, All polished within a inch of its life to a very high standard. Also running number plates reading - OLD-39
