History
Car is originally a 1976 Lancia Scorpion (US model of Montecarlo) imported in 2005 with the moulds of the replica panels of a Lancia Montecarlo Group 5 World Sports Car Champion of 1980 attached.
Modifications
The panels for the Lancia 037 replica were imported separately from the UK attached to a 1981 Series 2 Lancia Montecarlo. The Group 5 panels were removed from the Scorpion and the 037 replica panels attached instead. Likewise the Group 5 panels are in the process of being fitted to the Series 2 Montecarlo.
The Scorpion is fuel injected and will eventually be supercharged like the genuine 037 is.
It is now in the Martini WRC winning livery.
