My first car which I paid 45 pounds ($90) for. I put a short motor in later and my father re sprayed it. I did 18,000 miles up and down the coast of NSW & Qld chasing waves without breaking down. It used to over heat a times and I would put a large bottle of Coke Cola in the radiator to clean it out. This lasted 6 months before I had to replace the radiator which was half blocked. I managed to run into the back of a car at Narrabeen and the car would have been written off but a mate was a Sydney Tech. doing pannel beating and they took it as a class project. Lucky Me. I could manage to curl up on the back seat and sleep when it was raining on week end surfging trips. It was flat out at 70mph.
