History
Purchased April 2016. The 2016 model is an improvement over my previous 2013 model especially in the NVH area. The current model is much quieter on the road. The diesel which was always relatively quiet, certainly much quieter than most over SUV diesels, especially so than the Ford Territory diesel which my neighbor bought new one month before mine, is now virtually silent from inside the vehicle. When I first purchased it I was regularly checking the rev counter to see if the engine was indeed running after I pushed the starter button. I can achieve 5.9 litres per 100kms in the metropolitan area when driving without the A/c engaged.
My favorite component is the adaptive cruise control, which when engaged maintains a set distance from the vehicle in front. The 2016 settings have been improved over the 2013 setting in that it responds quicker to changes. In my 2013 model, if the vehicle in front slowed suddenly and then accelerated again quickly the adaptive cruise control had a slight delay before speeding up and then braking as it came back to the set distance. The 2016 setting responds quicker and resumes its set distance in a much smoother way.
My least favorite is the fact that for a vehicle designed for and fitted with seven seats, it still lacks raised ventilation to the second row (my 2006 Mitsubishi 380 does) nor to the third row. Mitsubishi will say it has ventilation to the second row but they are vent lying on the floor under the front seats.
