History
1978 T2 Kombi bought in 2019 from a Geelong enthusiast. Body in great condition for itsage and came resprayed in original Merino Gold and white. 2L Motor ran well but old and fumey. Had the front seats completely rebuilt. Fitted the interior out with sound deadening and insulation as well as rubber matting. Had the interior professionally spay painted prior to fitting the roof liner throughout.
Modifications
I have kept the van as authentic as possible sourcing parts from Just Kampers. Recently replaced the original motor with a Rod Penrose Racing air cooled 2276cc VW motor (January 2022).
