Bought the car without any prior knowledge of Subaru's and their mishaps with headgaskets etc, a few weeks after buying it I found that the previous owner had poured about 2 Litre's of water in the mufflers to help filter the coolant exhaust gases which would indicate a blown head gasket. So right out the gate I spent way to much getting that fixed, though in the process of learning about the car I decided from then on I'd install all modifications myself both to save money and to learn what's required.
Modifications
Rear suspension bushes replaced with SuperPro, Whiteline Rear sway bar + End links, Gen 5 Front Liberty Sedan Bilstein Shocks with Lowered King Springs, Gen 4 Rear Sedan Bilstein shocks with stock Liberty Wagon Springs, Rear Sub frame spacers swapped with Liberty wagon spacers.
