History
The humble old ute was completed in my home garage from the ground up restoration only leaving a couple of times for sand blasting, paint and interior trim.
Every other modification was done in house including all necessary charges under the car to gain that all important registration. Since doing that, the FJ has seen plenty of action on the street and on the show circuit and that's not about to start changing yet...
Modifications
Engine :350 HO Deluxe crate engine, four bolt mains, nodular iron crank,PM steel rods, alloy pistons, Vortex heads, mild cam,L31 valve springs,9.1:1 compression, dual plane alloy intake, 650cfm Holley carb, HEI distributor, custom headers, dual stainless steel exhaust system.
Trans: Turbo 400 auto, stage 2 shift kit.
Diff: 9 - inch diff, 2.75 - gears.
Suspension: Reinforced front chassis rails & Castlemaine Rod Shop front end, fabricated cross member to suit Chev engine & gearbox 50mm lowered front springs , hubs, reset rear leaf springs 50mm, Pedders shocks.
Brakes: Ford EF Disc front & rear.
Wheels: Foose Nitrous 2, 15x6 front, 15x8 rear.
Colour: Custom Midnight Purple Peal.
