History
This car was purchased from Mudge in 1974 by my late uncle. As an apprentice and then as a mechanic I used to service it for him. He always used to say that he would give me the car when he had finished with it. I didn't think much about that statement but about four years ago he said :come and get it" as he was no longer driving it. I've done a complete mechanical restoration on it from a new radiator all the way back to having the springs reset, nothing was untouched mechanically. I did put new carpets in it as well as new arm rest inserts but have left the body as is. So it looks like a well kept original but as new otherwise. It goes very nicely, is very tight and would drive it across the country without any concerns. My uncle passed away last year, I was very fortunate to take him for a drive just after the rebuild and his daughter [my cousin] made a photo album for him as the engine was repainted in the correct period early Holden red and all new decals fitted.
