History
This 1976 Yamaha XT500 started life as a road/trail bike. After many hours fabricating, it has now been turned into a Supercharged Cafe Racer. The bike is known as 'The Pub Racer' at local bike shows as it features a unique fuel tank fabricated from a 50ltr beer keg. Everything on this bike is custom and its loads of fun to ride.
Modifications
Everything on this bike is modified. Some features are
-Toyota SC14 supercharger boosting 30 psi
- Small block chev starter motor and custom gilmer belt drive.
- Fuel tank manufactured from a 50ltr tooheys beer keg. Boost, air fuel ratio and external fuel gauge built into the tank assembly
- Headlight cowl and seat assembly made from stainless woks
- TZ350 4 leading shoe front brake
- Suzuki GT rear wheel with 2 leading shoe front brake plate from a CB360
- Heavily modified TT350 rear swing arm
- Heavily modified Harley Super E carburettor
-XS1100 front forks and triple trees
