History
Picked it up back in 2012 with peeling black paint and a nasty misfire, slowly been working on it to turn it into a more modern and reliable street track car.
Modifications
I’ll start off from the ground up, we’ve got Volk racing Ze40 wrapped in Advan AD08R, bringing the whole thing to a halt is provided by a hefty pair of AP racing calipers and 2 piece disks. Then we move into the suspension with a set of Tein monoflex coilovers and most of the catalogue of ikeya control arms, making sure both my rear wheels get power is a Nismo 1.5 lsd mated to a Z32 transmission with an Alpha Omega conversion kit. In front of that I’ve got a Nismo super copper mix clutch with a lovely billet pressure plate that seems a shame to hide away in a bellhousing, pulsing power to that clutch is a forged SR20DET with CP pistons and Eagle rods. But providing most of the life in this party is a Garrett Gt2860rs running 21psi through a Greddy intercooler. Turning to the interior of the car is 2 Bride Zeta 3s, Takata harnesses and an AGI roll cage to make it all a little bit safer
