The Ford Taurus was the top selling car in the USA in the early 90's, so Ford Corporation had a plan that this third generation Taurus would continue that sales performance including taking over from the Ford Falcon in Australia... except the styling created alot of controversy. Its a 'love it or hate it' design which personally I love, as its different! This particular low km 1996 model was one of the early models brought into Australia being built at its Atlanta Georgia USA facility. Its extremely comfortable, ride like a floating carpet and is very smooth, quiet and well refined. As a Ford enthusiast, just had to have one of these in our stable. Definitely a talking point
