History
Owned by a family in Wee Waa since new, sold to a family friend in Inverell in the early 1990s.
I knew the family and it was a case for them of “one day I will get her back on the road”. I told them that if circumstances ever change then please let me know
As opportunities arise themselves, well the day came I got the phone call. The Super Snipe was mine!
Had not been registered since 1969 but has been run occasionally on the farm. Was last ran in early 90s. Complete fuel system, ignition and brake overhaul with fluid changes now sees the old girl running beautifully.
Whilst I was considering painting it, everyone has told me to leave the classic patina as it gives the car so much character. They are only original once right?
Modifications
Original, even down to fully functioning semipheres / trafficators. All works as it did in 1950
