This Toyota 86 is not like any other. My 86 is a different character.
I drive this car around town or at the track it gets and incredible amount of positive attention. The attention I get comes with great responsibility as I every brand that is on this car is a company I represent to and from the track.
The fact I’m able to do this on some weekends and drive a car that’s taken my Motorsport journey to the next level, has been incredible. So I owe a lot to Mia which is the name for my 2017 86 GTS it has brought me laughs and tonnes and tonnes of frustration but in the end she does right by me. She’s never skipped a beat. I service her well and maintain her and with that she enjoys stretching her legs on the track. While others don’t like the 86 Platform, what I can honestly say is it taught me one thing, How to drive a sports car and take it to the next level!
When track days come up, I start the process swapping wheels in my garage, jacks under neath, impact gun, wheels on, hand do up the lug nuts, impact gun them on, drop the car. Torque wrench the wheels and make sure the car is packed.
While some trailer the race or track cars to the track. I drive this car to and from the track as its road registered; every modification on this vehicle is legal, as every brand I represent knows I want to make a positive image.
