History
Originally purchased in March 2009 when I was in W.A. on contract, it had sat in a shed for 15 years before that. A rebuilt 225 from an AP5 was slipped in and I was mobile.
I drove the car from Perth to Brisbane in May 2009 after the G.F.C. hit and a lot of people lost their jobs (and bank balances) including me. It ate up the miles easily and cruised on 60 mph towing the trailer with our belongings across the nullabor.
It is now September 2013 and has just been sold to a guy in Narrogin W.A. so its going home again, this time on the back of a transporter.
Modifications
- Electronic Ignition (have you tried getting to the points on these slant sixes??)
- Head modified for unleaded petrol (goodbye oil additive)
- DVD/CD player hidden behind speaker grille on dash so only old Krysler radio is visible.
