1963 Split window Corvette "Fuelie"
First of the stingrays and one of the most iconic cars of all time.
This Corvette was sold new in Hawaii on behalf of an Australian buyer in Jan 63 and shipped straight to Sydney arriving in June 1963.
The car was then converted to Right Hand Drive from new by Bill Buckle in Sydney, the conversion is exceptionally done
The car has been in Australia its whole life, rarely driven but always cared for by enthusiasts. It has done 34,000miles from new and has had only one repaint in the original colour in the 80s. Outside of this the car is totally original and unrestored. The car is matching numbers throughout and in exceptional condition.
The car features optional power steering, power brakes and factory heater delete option (only approx. 100 cars had this option reserved for race cars and tropical climates only)
