History
Hello, my name is Ljupco Stojanovski. Firstly, I would like to thank the organizers of the Show and Shine Competition, which offers people like myself the opportunity to showcase our pride and joy.
I have been a member of the Jaguar Club for many years, and I am entering my Jaguar MKVII 1952, for the very first time.
Before I proceed to discuss my vehicle, I would like to tell you about my personal background.
I am not a mechanic by trade, just a car lover and enthusiast, and this is my passion and a labour of love.
I started this project many years ago, as a hobby, in my front yard with limited space and resources, with only my basic tools.
The vehicle was not drivable, incomplete with many parts missing. It is disappointing that I am unable to provide you with more photos to truly show the magnitude of my project. I painstakingly dismantled every piece of the vehicle, every part individually cleaned and restored to perfection, or replaced by sourcing original parts, (SNG Barrett Group, Welsh Enterprise). I have spent countless hours searching the internet to source genuine parts for my vehicle, in an attempt to restore the vehicle to its original glory and condition and I believe I have successfully accomplished this. You be the judge?
Original Colour; Old English White, Leather; Stella & Connolly, Vinyl; Matching red English 3171 Made in England. Carpet; Red Heritage wool carpet Made in England 209N. Headlining; English Wool Union cloth Grey Made in England.
The project has taken me 7 years to complete in which I have applied all of my energy, passion and skill. This project was completed enduring numerous working hours, often filled with despair, and disappointment, but unconditional resolve to compete my labour of love. I prepared my vehicle in readiness to showcase at the Annual Jaguar Club Concourse, but unfortunately, due to Covid-19 and a Rally that was held, I was unable to show my vehicle. The first viewing of my vehicle was on a wet Sunday on 11th April, 2021, where nine members of my club gathered for a meeting at my home.
As reported in Jaguar Car Club CAT-A LOG May 2021 edition, "Everyone present was left either inspired, impressed, envious or shell-shocked." I hope my vehicle has the same effect on your judging panel.
PS: Should you require more photos, l am happy to provide.
