History
Purchased for $10k in 2007. My parents had a P5 LTD and I always loved the front end, so when we saw the Landau in a photo a friend had I wanted it! We snatched it up really quickly and drove it as is complete with repaired undercoat front guard and ripped seats. We decided to start a full ground up restoration in 2008. I documented the whole resto on fordforums.com.au and got so much helpful information from that site. I also became the Qld representative for aussiecoupes.com.au and organised meet ups and even a special car display for the release of Eric Bana’s movie “Love the Beast” when it came out in cinemas. Thus was all back before Facebook became the alternative to forums. I have some lifelong friends from those forums located all over Australia. We drive the Landau, it’s not a show pony. We went to Bathurst for the 2017 Hardtop Anniversary and we drove from Brisbane with other hardtop owners and it was the best road trip. We also won Runner Up Landau. We also regularly drive to Bundaberg, Hervey Bay etc for events. 2022 we hope to make the drive to Rockynats. If we win this money will go towards funding that trip!
