History
Originally delivered 9th March 1979 thru Adrian Brien Ford in South Australia, I believe it was in the 1st owners care for but a few years, 2nd owner up until 2023, 3rd owner, myself, since late 2023. Extensive mechanical freshen up, brakes, motor etc etc, absolutely thrilled to bits with how well this thing drives. de-gassed, its off to the paint shop shortly to have gas filler removed, ongoing detailing, if and when weather permits, cant remember enjoying a car this much in years, hugely satisfied! One of 750 limited build Sportsmans, only available in 4 colours, Sno White, Burgundy, Desert Gold metallic, and Sweet Cream. All Sportsmans were T-Bar auto, all 4.9 V8s, all had Volanti Alloy wheels with locking wheel nuts, chrome exhaust tip, LTD/Marquis external mirrors, cord cloth or wool blend herringbone trim, air con and custom pin striping, and remote boot release. Only factory options, electric windows, tow bar, cassette player, and Golde wind back sun roof. Mine had the lot, tow bar has since been removed...
Modifications
Gradually returning it to stock, gas conversion has been removed, tow bar removed, new rear springs re set to it rides at its regular height, 45 year old mild window tint will be replaced shortly....Volanti Alloys, not my favorite, factory issue, so they'll stay, but will be refurbished.
