History
Sheesh, where it all began! May 1974, a gentleman traded this mint one owner XY Falcon 351 in, on a brand new Charger, True Blue, 770, 265. I can still remember screwing the new plates on to the new Charger, GZF-806, super eager to snatch up this original XY, delivered new from Thompson Ford in Parramatta, in Feb 1972. Stupidly strayed to the 'dark side", and purchased the flag-ship, top of the woz car, March 10th, 1976. It turned out to be the absolute dud of all dud cars, 18 months of sheer misery, and all because I wanted auto, air con, and power steering...never gotten over it, still need grief counseling, over 40 years later. I believe DYI-294 ( I changed it to DP-047 in early 1975) it was kept at the H----- dealership over night, and sent to an auction place the following day, when it was snapped up by a High Performance dealer on Parramatta Rd, then sold teh following day to some lucky person down in ACT..never to be seen or heard of, again,...gosh, it really was a great car!
