Owned by an old chap with service history in the country so its had longer trips rather then stop start... Had gearbox serviced at 100,000 kms with a recon valve assembly ( was precautionary service as nothing was wrong ) Cam belt and roller/water pump done at the same time...Only other major issue has been ABS computer becoming fault due to corrosion on the circuit board...Replaced by a 2nd hand unit from the UK for minimal money...perfect...Best thing I had done was to get the tyre pressure sensors removed and the circuit turned off...not more silly messages due to flat batteries. Been very reliable and the gearbox is perfect...super slurs thru the gears and always in the right gear...don't know what all the palava in the test reports about a poor gearbox is about?? Notice thou my gearbox computer has a Saab sticker on it...they shared the same gearboxs so don't know what thats about...perhaps it had it from the factory...anyway its been brilliant. Parts are cheap from the UK wreckers and suspension parts are cheap to buy new...Have done most of the bushes as its 16 years ols now...All good...
