History
On going project started in the late ’90’s. Built by myself and painted by my father.
Modifications
Vehicle started life as a 1300L poverty pack. I pulled it apart and converted it to a RS2000 replica. I fitted the 2Lt SOHC Pinto engine and Type 9 Ford Sierra Gearbox. After blowing the original diff I fitted a converted Borg Warner diff that Craft Differentials built for me. They were known for building diffs for Colin Bonds Rally cars in the 70’s and 80’s.
I recently modified the engine by balancing and blue printing of the internals and having the head flowed and bigger valves fitted. A Camtech cam is fitted. For induction I have fitted an EFI setup from a Ford Sierra. The ECU would not run the Engine with the mods so I had to fit an EMS ECU. The interior is re trimmed in Burgundy Velour from a VC Brock Commodore. The front seats are out of an unknown Mazda.
The wheels are Simmons OM 15x7.
