History
I purchased this Landcruiser in 2013. It was restored by Bruce Sharman for the best part of 10yrs using all original parts. What couldn't be found was tastefully and accurately reproduced.
A little bit of a background:
My first experience with a 40 Series landcruiser was when I was 8 years old, my Father picked up a brand new FJ45 from the Dealer here in Perth and my Brother and I rode home (Kalgoorlie) in the Trayback ( with Furniture and many other supplies). It was a cherished memory!
Roll the clock forward to 2010 and I found an identical vehicle in the local classifieds. I think it was meant to be. Sentiment got the better of me and now it sits in pride of place on the Showroom floor of Karratha Toyota!
I put alot of time and money into the FJ45 and am happy with how it turned out.
I have always loved the classic shape of the early 40 series and when I saw this 1964 Soft top listed, I had to have it.
I'm happy with how it's turned out.
