History
This car is almost the lifeline of my family. My aunty and uncle purchased this Corona brand new in 1985 and owned it for six years. During that time, each of their three children were born and brought home from the hospital in it after birth.
My aunty sold this Corona to her brother, my Dad, in 1991. He held ownership of it until 2016 when it was passed down to me. Given I was born in 1995, and my sister in 1997, my parents followed the tradition of my aunty and uncle and we too were brought home from the hospital in this car after birth.
As one of two cars in my family at the time, my mother used to drive this car a lot while I was in my childhood days. Unfortunately, she passed away in 2003 from a brain tumour. My Dad held onto the vehicle for the next decade until he offered me with the opportunity to be the next member from our family to own it which I grabbed with both hands.
Given the special memories that have been had with this vehicle which also include numerous day trips and vacations both throughout Victoria and interstate, there is a significant sentimental attachment that I have with this car. This was my mothers car.
This car will always remain with me as part of the family and I will never part with it.
