History
After selling the little black 900 (see past vehicles) I pined for a while and in a weaker moment snapped this up when it turned up on Car Sales. It is a factory genuine Aero with the full Aero body kit (so it has the big whale tail out back), and is running 16" Carlsson wheels (quite rare, but look fantastic). It is an unusual colour (not basic bright red, more a brick red, but a factory colour nonetheless). Other than that it is pretty standard, but with fairly low k’s and obviously well cared for (basically original and unrestored) so it drives extremely well, and I have to say quite a bit better than my old one. Tight as a drum, and when the turbo comes on boost - fun!!
The guy I bought it off sold it because he didn’t have room to keep the car, but went out and bought 2 more with in the week. That’s on top of the two 9000s he had parked out front. I actually think he is sicker than me... :-) We are planning to join up for a run in the hills with our cars when the weather improves a bit (currently winter in Melbourne...)
Modifications
Just the Carlsson wheels - they come with all the fruit salad already! Unless I could get some more boost out of it.....
