Original stunning example of a VC SL European Pack, would be one of the best if not the best in Australia. It’s a 1980 SL 310 pack with all options from factory, 4.2ltr V8 motor:Power output: 100kW (134bhp) at 4200rpm (single exhaust); , Torque: 269Nm (198lbs/ft) at 2000rpm (single exhaust); Trimatic gearbox, 2.6:1 Ratio open centre, 4 Wheel Disc Brakes, Fuel Tank capacity: 63 litres, manual windows, bumper over-riders, headlight wipers, Power Steering, power aerial and working upgraded R134a Air Conditioning. The car has had 2 previous owners that kept in brand new condition, prior to my acquiring it, done very low klms 115,000 and drives like a brand new car and I mean like brand new. The Green Acrylic paintwork is in stunning condition (one minor rust blister / bubble in lower drivers door), the Green interior is immaculate with internal metal venetian fitted, I haven’t seen one like this it’s like you are in 1980. Came to me with all owners books and paperwork from new, Sold at Eagers in Qld, traded back at 96,466 klms in October 2011, was then Sold for a cost of $8350 on 12/12/2011 to a chap after it was Roadworthy inspected was / still is a collectors dream, a once in a life time opportunity to get a like new VC 310 pack SL V8 . This car has not been restored. The chap I purchased it from got it in April 2013 and had since fitted a set of Pacemaker Extractors and a nice two into one Single system, the car has been professionally Lowered with correct Short Travel Shock Absorbers and the Coil springs to match, drives very tight and rattle free as the front Suspension Bushes have been replaced, the Brakes have had the Pads and Rotors changed to make it stop nice and straight, bushes in the rear are top shape, Trailing arms all done, glass is great, the window frame felts have been changed on all 4 corners as have the outer door rubbers, boot is clean and shows zero sign of any accident damage, so is untouched in every way, a very hard to find immaculate unrestored VC SL automatic sedan. Mechanically A1 and the 8 cylinder engine runs a treat, new tyres, external metal original front sun visor. The original radio works as it should, comes with the original alloy spare wheel + jack, now travelled 116,000klms. The car came with the Retro personalised Plate – OVC 253 and really set the car off
