Classic Stand-Up Headlight early model Mercedes-Benz 280S, I am the third Custodian owner, the First owner had for over 26years, only Sold it at age 94 back in 1994 when he gave up driving, Engine and Gearbox done in first term of ownership (but can not prove as no reciepts), also the car was repainted some 15 Years ago, the second owner had it till 2016 and sold it to the owner I got it off recently, Only travelled 158,000 km, original AM/FM Radio / Tape player 1970’s era with 2 speakers in the back in small boxes, 2 keys, basic floor mats (Not Merc), Battery is now 3 years old now (due to be changed soon), not the SLS (self levelling suspension), just traditional normal shocks n coils (no dramas or expensive repair bills), not a power window model either just the basic wind up handles x 4, electric antenna changed for normal type, Exhaust is a Stainless Steel type, Dash is 99% crack free, 45psi oil pressure, 28psi at idle, Good honest classic turns heads, used daily last 4 years by the owner I got it off, (57k daily round trip to work n back) elderly gentleman of 66 years old, Full Electonic ignition fitted, Twin Zenith (34/40) carbys reconditioned, new plugs, coil, electric fuel pump conversion (as mechanical has a tendancy to play up and loose pressure), steering joints, got receipts for $5000 of work / maintenance, drives very straight and true, has Aftermarket under dash AIR Conditioning, (needs attention / gas up), Central locking, white wall tyres in 14inch, 185/75/14 Front and 215/70/14 Rear, all original car, mud flaps and all, not a show car, but does presents extremely well, its a good everyday family car, thats very cool to cruise in
