Learnt tot drive on the Popular... It was a bit rough (but it was 1963) Can't remember too much about it, BUT it was a car and got me about - and that is all a 17 yr old cared about. Soon after I pasted my test go a bright, shiny, NEW, Red Mini. (In fact it was an Austin 7 but back then they were the same as the Morris-Mini)

No modifications on the Popular but put 'Go-faster' lines on the Mini!
