I bought my baby over 4 years ago i was not really into cars back then. I drove her on and off for nearly 2 years, i then lent her to someone for 3 months and she came back with a blown head and trashed.
I then took her off the road. The motor was replaced january 2017, then in march 2017 she went into a workshop to be transformed.
Before she went in she had an aftermarket el xr body kit, twin headlights at the front and AM rims and was automatic with grey fairmont interior and an xr spoiler.
After she was transformed i added a full fpv typhoon bodykit (travelled to Victoria for it). Full manuel conversion and cappucino interior.
Fully custom paint inside, outside and engine bay and full custom interior.
Before the paint work we fully stripped the car i did majority of the work, we cut the roof skin off and put another roof skin which had a sunroof. Following that we welded the rear fila panel (can no longer be removed) then welded up the badge holes on the fila and also welded a plate where the boot lock goes. Making it fully keyless entry.
I spent 3 months customising my rims. I deleted 4 twist in allen key studs in between each spoke and painted the wheels pink. From their the car was painted.
I then started customising the interior painting bits and pieces. I then hand stitched a gear boot cover and hand brake cover with no measurement of factory one. Followed by a rear vision mirror decor. I also painted parts under my bonnet in my engine bay, i also did my roof lining myself and painted it black. I converted a single din stereo surround into a double and took away the ash tray
As it looks hideous and custom painted. ��
The car was returned home in march 2018 then finally finished at the beginning of june 2018 where she was entered into her first show and shine at kadina. She didn't win anything but was apart of a ford club which took out best club display.
I may not have won anything for her but she got a lot of attention, a lot of photos taken plus she was in the country times with a fellow club member. ��
Now the exterior is complete its now time to continue with custom interior work and also engine work.
I appreciate all cars especially those where enthusiasts have spent many hours of hard work to get them where they are.
Can i also say that shannons are amazing without them i wouldnt have any of my cars. I never believed in insurance until i was insured by shannons ��������
