What was meant to be a small project became a full custom bobber build.
The BMW R100 was always a dream bike to build, something I've always wanted to do down the line to keep. Originally bought as an unfinished project to do as a Resto-Mod project (to do little by little through the years), it was then catapulted to be done in a very short timeframe due to my previous motorcycle, a daily ridden Honda CB1100 Cafe Racer, be written off whilst parked outside by a hit and run incident.

Modifications
- Complete subframe overhaul and removed existing OEM Ikon shocks
- Welded new 8mm sleeved shock tabs and removed original subframe mounts
- Extended structural central framing brace and added new bobber seat pan
- Seibenrock '/6 Peanut Style' engine side covers
- Seibenrock engine top cover with integrated airbox delete with custom bracket for vent piping
- Seibenrock 'Gearwheel Long 5th Gear with X' upgrade
- OEM BMW Factory crash guards powdercoated in satin black + Hella 500 Comet fog lights
- Welded and fabricated mounting brackets + Purpose Built Moto fender kit, including new tyre scraper plate holder with led plate light
- LED headlight with integrated Motogadget Motoscope speedometer onto headlight housing
- Complete new wiring harness to support all lighting, control switch blocks and electrical components
- Motogadget M.unit blue
- Motogadget m-Blaze Tens4 led 2-in-1 Rear indicators and Brake light
- Renthal handlebars + Highsider Montana Rim handlebar end mirrors with integrated LED indicators
- Reconditioned front brake master cylinder and retrofitted rear brake master cylinder from ducati monster with minimal brake reservoir
- K&N pod filter with airbox delete
- Choke cables + thumb pull and OEM choke cable delete
- Rebuilt front forks with lowered springs and new gaiters, complete internal overhaul
- YSS 420mm dual rear shocks
- Continental TKC80 tyres
- Powdercoated engine components and fenders and mounting brackets to colorbond satin black
- 450w Enduralast 4 Charging System + rectifier, deleted old alternator, diode board and voltage regulator
- Valeo Starter Motor
- NGK ignition plugs with Bosch spark plugs
- Custom under engine battery box
- Modified Surefoot sidestand retrofitted to OEM position
- Modified BMW centrestand
- Custom 'John Moorehouse Ergo Seats' black leather Bobber Seat with diamond stitching
- Custom two tone tank paint in Black and BMW OEM colour 'Polaris Graphite'
