Nota Chassis no 8, the first All-enveloping alloy body Ex Guy Buckingham's personal car this is the one and the only Nota Mazengarb, so called because it ran the Mazengarb OHV head an S/V 8/40 engine. full space frame with .split ford 10 front swing axle
I purchased in the car in 1977 from Robert Rowe for $1,400, it has a LB Log Book and its previous Group A sports car cams log books, I tidied up the car and painted it Rally Red a great handling car
The 15"wire wheels were built by Ryder wheel works in Sydney in the 60's
On 21st August 1977 at Amaroo Park AARC meeting, in my first event we won the Tom Sulman trophy race for historic cars, we competed at Oran park, Silverdale, Castlereagh, Winton and Adelaide international raceway.
After an accident with the "rock" at Amaroo's Honda corner in 1980 Bob winley repaired all the broken and bent bits and she was painted green with yellow stripe
I swapped John Merrick in 1985 for his 1959 JWF ITALIA Pronta John sold the Nota in the 1990s to QLD, Whereabouts unknown.
