I purchased the Black car 21 years ago. I don't know nuch of it's past history although i saw it on 2 different occasions long before i bought it.The car had always been very reliable until one day it broke down with a fuel pump problem, as it required other work i put it aside for 6 years and concentrated on my other A40. The car always had chipped and cracked paint work although looking excellent when polished. In 2018 one of my son's decided to give it a rejuvination so he took it to his workshop where he and my other son stripped it down and gave it a new paint job and repaired the mechanicals,the job took about 6 months it now looks great and drives beautifully. In the meantime my 2nd very original car has had a 15 month break.
