History
Bought by my father in the 1950’s with a Daimler Knight sleeve valve 7 litre engine which had a cracked block. Dad bought the aero engine to replicate Count Zborowski Chitti Bang Bang lll
Modifications
The chassis was lengthened to accomodate the engine
Memories
Our late father Darcy's 1913 Mercedes 28/95 fitted with a Mercedes aero engine originally for Zeppelin's Gotha bomber of 1918. It displaces a mere 23 litres. Dad built it as a replica of Count Louis Zborowski's Chitti Bang Bang III.
Not Mercedes-Benz..
As a child in the early 1960s there was nothing on the road like it..
