Started life as a 18R-C and 5 speed when I first built it. I have owned this ute since 2000 and has undergone many upgrades over the years. Stripped down to bare metal shell and painted inside and outside the Aqua color. Fitted import grey bucket seats, new carpet and modified dash and other interior trims to black instead of brown. Recently fitted Hilux bench seat so my kids can ride in the ute.
Modifications
Changed to a 1JZ GTE and R154 out of a JZA70 Supra for many years. Removed R154 gearbox and fitted built 2 speed Powerglide from ATi in the US. Last engine upgrade 6 years ago was the 2JZ GTE VVTi and rebuild the Powerglide. Race-Pac street dash, Link G4 Extreme red case, M&W CDi box, Honda motorbike CDi coils, Digital Dakota gear position display, wide band unit. Built engine, CP pistons, Manley rods, Mild ported head, Ferrea 1mm oversize valves, Crower valve springs, standard camshafts, Large Aeroflow oil cooler, CVR 3qt oil accumulator, Proflow intake manifold, Proflow 90mm throttle body, Greddy timing belt, billet tensioner, custom manual cam belt adjuster, Sub-Zero turbo manifold, Mr Turbo MTA900 ball bearing turbocharger, Turbosmart Pro 50mm external gate, 3.5" stainless mandrel bent exhaust. Powerglide, B&M shifter, manual valve body, billet shafts, extra clutches, modified pump, transbrake, 4000 rpm stall converter, large twin core trans cooler with fan, Derale external trans filter, Aeroflow external filter, one piece tailshaft with tigger wheel for speed pick up, Digital Dakota sensor for gear position display on dash, tailshaft loop. JZA80 front rotors, BA twin piston calipers on front, XF vented rear disc, ZD Fairlane calipers, Moroso 90/10 drag shocks in front, Braided brake lines, 4 link rear end, Pedders coilovers 4kg springs in rear, 4.3 diff ratio, tightened Surf LSD, Aeroflow anodised circuit fuel tank, Holley twin fuel pump, Aeroflow anodised dash 8 fuel lines, Aeroflow fuel filters, Proflow fuel rail, ID 1650 injectors, Aeromotive fuel regulator, Derale fuel cooler, Aeroflow anodised dash 6 return line. Complete custom A/C system. Wheels vary. Re trimmed bench seat, matching door trims. Probably much more I have forgotten.
