2008 Ford G6E

I live in Bundaberg, Queensland, I have been living here since my parents moved up from Kyabram, Victoria after i just completed grade 6, After finishing high school my mum passed away suddenly from heart failure, My dad moved back to Victoria soon after and i was left here alone, Fast forward now i was 32 and decided to go down to Victoria for a 2 week trip to see my dad again, At this point i had not seen him for 16 years and i only had this one free chance to make the trip, The day before i was meant to leave my BA Ford Fairlane started to play up so i thought it best to take it in for a quick service before i leave the following morning, An hour after i had dropped it in to the mechanic he rang me back saying its timing guides were basically disintegrated and the left bank had jumped a few teeth on the timing chain, So there it was needing an engine rebuild and i was supposed to be leaving at 5am the following morning, Desperate to think of a quick fix i was getting a lift past a very optimistic looking motor dealership i saw the G6E out the front, So i got dropped off there and running out of time i bought it on the spot and the next morning loaded the boot and set off, Feeling nervous as i had no time to be acquainted with her but she never missed a beat over the next 10,000km and 2 weeks across Australia over gravel roads and farm tracks and reuniting me with my dad, I love her now more than anything i have ever owned and she will be with me till the end, Thank you.
