History
Driven 6-7yrs by 1st owner in New Mexico, covered in a closed barn for approx. 22yrs, restored in from 2004-2009.
I purchased the vehicle in late 2012/early 2013.
She won "best unmodified type 3/ type 34" back-to-back at the 2013 and 2014 Volkswagen Nationals. She was also awarded "Top Ten" trophy out of over 700 vehicles at the coveted Valla Spectacular VW Festival in north NSW in 2014.
Modifications
aftermarket exhaust: ceramic coated over-the-top exhaust with ceramic coated header.
Every other aspect of the car is stock, most is original or NOS (New Old Stock) parts.
