History
The Royale was the pinnacle of Leone Luxury at the end of the ’80s. Although who wouldn’t want for the balck and white chequered interior of the RX Turbo Leone, the Royale came with luxurious blue velvet, that you could enjoy whilst using your air conditioning or electric windows!
Although missing the turbo version of the EA82, the Royale did score the Multipoint Fuel Injected version.
Modifications
I painted a set of 13" Sunraysia wheels from a brumby in WRC gold, and fitted a 2.25" exhaust, meaning it clearly looked and sounded like a WRC car... I also stuck a GT badge from a Forester on the back, and an STi sticker, I estimate that combined these added around 45kW.
Also clear was the fact I was at university when I owned this so actually had time to do stupid things like the above. :)
