History
I have owned this car since 1997, It has been regularly serviced and always maintained with original MB parts. This car has never ever let me down, It has now covered 210,000kms I had the auto transmission recently reconditioned and a new Rdiator was fitted. At around 100,000kms in1999 I had a new headgasket and a new wiring loom fitted (known weak spots in these engines and modified new parts were used at the time). I believe that these cabrios which were built on the full lengths E-class chassis and were the last true 4 seat convertibles built by Daimler Benz, are already a new classic and will in time become a desirable collectors car. Interesting these Cabrios have retained their market value for the last 5 years.
Modifications
I had AMG springs fitted and the car was lowered and runs now on 17" Hammer alloys. I added the additional dash wood and wooden steering wheel as in the European AMG version.
