History
Purchased in 2020 as a car to enjoy some freedom on the open roads. Along with the S40 the C70 is another car I have always wanted. First seen in the movie The Saint. It's a car that lifts ya spirits, put the roof down and enjoy the fresh air any day of the year cold or warm. I am the 3rd owner. The first was Hertz as a presteage rental, second didn't have it for long due to mechanics ripping him off, and then me. Still quite low Ks for it's age when got it at only 127,000. Since the. Being me I first brought the already great condition c70 to top notch then started to modify but keeping it as classy as the c70 is.
Modifications
First was seat colour restore.
Second Android head unit with fibre optic out and DSP, 4G tracking, TPS, ADAS camera, front camera on front spoiler, rear view, pioneer Class D Amp and a class d amp for centre speaker
Third, Adjustable coilovers
Dec 2023 to March 2024 full interior recolour. AFR gauge added, Rearview mirror replaced. Few trim pieces replaced and some custom made with Carbon fibre (which took weeks) Soundsystem redone with Fibre optic cable going to back plugged into Surround sound processor and 1 Infinity Reference amp powering the 4 corners 1 Philips HD amp doing the center speaker and 1 Philips HD Amp for the rear two subwoofers.
Then projector headlights and led side indicators.
