More purchased by parents but used before getting my own car while last years of highschool and doing tafe.
Car was great to drive, quick for its power and quite reliable until a Mechanic Pre Ultratune touched it and stuffed the motor up. Just went in for a service and injector clean and they said it had a blown head gasket and proceeded to repair without permission. when got back it was only running on 5 cyl, lumpy and $4700 later still not right, before taking in it was running perfect just using a bit of fuel, we ended up taking it to MTA who put a case against the dodgy chain who eventually got shut down. Since then And with all my cars majority of the service was done by me and now these days in the last 20 years none of my cars have seen a mechanic on exception the 440 which was under warranty so had to, and my s40 when first got it to get the timing belt done and aircon which again the mechanic stuffed up costing my 2700 so I have completely lost trust and do everything my self. My cars have never let me down since.
