History
A labour of love to fully restore this 1977 Ducati 900 super sport. The bike had covered 70,000kms prior to the total restoration, including engine rebuild. At one time part of Bernie Ecclestone’s collection, I purchased the bike in the UK when living abroad. The bike was used in classic racing by a previous owner, then riden regularly by myself at classic motorcycle rallies. I commenced the restoration in 2012, outsourcing parts to specialists in the UK and AUS. The restoration took 7 years, with the Ducati hitting the road again is 2018. This beautiful bevel now mostly graces roads and rallies around Newcastle NSW, as I’m a member of the Newcastle Vintage Motorcycle Club. My dad rides another bevel, an 860GTS. I greatly enjoy riding this bike, particularly with dad.
Modifications
