History
Purchased from first owner in Adelaide in 1973 and owned by us and used almost daily ever since. The car has never been restored but maintained as appropriate and finally repainted professionally in the correct colour in 2010.
As far as I know it is the only R8 in WA that is fully licensed and in regular use. There might be 10-12 others, 2-3 being Gordinis, in various conditions and/or under restoration.
Modifications
Alternator, 1100cc pistons and sleeves and R10 all-synchromesh gearbox fitted, all being maintenance matters. Otherwise pretty much original.
