History
Purchased 4 old Zephyrs (2 from scrapyards) in 1992/93. None were going or registered. Robbed useable spares from the worst two and re-scrapped them. My youngest son was 14 and wanted to learn about cars so over the next 3 years we restored one of the 2 remaining cars.
All internal trim was replaced.
The finished car went over the pits on his birthday and passed. My son ran it as his daily driver for about 3 years until problems from rust in the fuel tank started. He didn't have the time to fix so he bought a different second hand car and that was the end of the Zephyr. It stayed outside in the weather, the vinyl trim and paintwork all suffered badly and is now at my new house which has plenty of workshop space - one day it will go again but not until I finish 3 other projects
Modifications
Changed standard column change to a ford cortina box (4 on floor)
Fitted ford 12 slot wheels
