History
I built this Suzuki bodied Range Rover chassied challenge truck about 10 years ago, ive constantly been modifying it ever since. It works very well, it started out with a Rover V8, but they dont like deep water, they run hot when being worked & use loads of fuel. Hence now fitted with a Land Rover 300 Tdi engine & box. Smaller radiator & fuel tank. Now its very reliable! & Ive won several winch challenges with this truck!!!
Modifications
Suzuki SJ {sierra} body on a 1980 2Dr Range Rover chassis, Ashcroft air lockers, drive shafts, outer CV joints, Warn 8274 front & rear winches, with Gigglepin internals, freespools, wider drums & a centre winch, all with plasma ropes. 38.5 Bogger tyres, with bead lock rims. Everything fabricated, winch mounts, bucket seat mounts, cage, fuel tank, etc has all been built by myself.
