Bought about 30 years ago, has always been registered since. Drove it a lot, then with family etc, it got to sit in the shed and be driven by nephews, nieces and then grandkids. As my "coronavirus project" ( I picked the body up from the painter and the gearbox from the gearbox man when Covid 19 lockdown was on - I had to satisfy myself that these trips were ""necessary"" - phoned police etc and no- one would give me a yes or no answer - so I went anyway). It was wonderful to have this project to work on - I started in abt Dec 2019 and finished mid 2020. I still have a few minor things to tidy up but car has been fully restored. Cost all up about $15000. Gearbox $4400 and paint $6000 were the ""biggies" in the total. Had the engine re - sleeved back to the original piston size (new JP pistons) seats recovered - I did all the interior myself. It is a nic little car - My wife loves this one too :-)
