History
Purchased in from Parramatta auto alley and lived most of its life in the Central coast of NSW region, gain sea water swept rust and occasionally being driven on the sand, perhaps doing a few sand dunes... may of changed hands here, possibly from father to son but definitely given to a younger driver.
From there it was purchased as a touring car by a back packer and finally settled in Auburn for several years. Here thanks so someone not applying their hand brake the radiator and front bumper were damaged, purchased by myself and driven by my brother a series or questionable engines were installed and ruined. Until early 2014 when I took it and replaced the motor with one from a Rally rebuild from Bathurst. Being kept as a daily drive in the Sydney area and still in amazing conditon and getting about 8L/100kms or 500-600 per tank.
360,000kms+ on the car, 250,00kms+ on the current engine. Syncro on 4th gear is worn, spare gear box is waiting to go in.
Factory fitted 14" rallye alloys, white 7 spoke, 185/70R14. Hard to come by as these had been removed, a trip to QLD found me a set and were installed late 2015. Interior trim is standard but was originally sold as a Rallye model, I have been unable to locate any differences between the Rallye and the standard GX model.
Modifications
Seats have been replaced with Japanese RS Legacy seats, the fabric is velour and the drivers seat is electric. No engine for gearbox modifications.
