History
Bought this vehicle off a guy whoââ¬â¢s wife used it as a daily drive for 7 years. All I have done to it is had it cut and polished and replaced the water pump and put the new wheels on. Although showing 333k on the clock I think it has had some work done on the motor because it still goes extremely hard when given the boot. When I purchased it I was given a heap of receipts for various work and modifications which totalled $7,500. I paid $3,500 and consider I got a bargain!
Modifications
I installed a double din screen which has all the goodies such as radio, cd, dvd, gps, ipod input, reversing camera etc. and even TV which is unfortunately analogue and no longer of use. I have shown a couple of photos of how I modified original radio fascia using a small hobby saw, dremel tool and a heat gun. I had read many articles on how it could not be done, but in all seriousness it was relatively easy. All that was necessary was alittle bit of thought and plenty of patience. I even got the ashtray and lighter to fit back in. Too bad I gave up smoking 23 years ago!!
The Territory is my daily drive, correction-wife’s shopping trolley and taxi( 8 grandkids). A 2006 seven seater on gas with a few minor mods such as the 19 inch wheels, running boards, cold air intake, sports exhaust, DVD (a must with the kids) rear vision camera and front recording camera, plus a few extras like factory fog lights, dynamic stability control and dual control air con etc etc. Goes quite well considering it is in gas!
