History
This Chrysler HUSTLER was built on or about AUGUST 1970 in Pt Melbourne Victoria. There is NO reference on the car to suggest it as being a HILLMAN, It has a PENTASTAR on lower LHS front mudguard. This is a UNIQUELY AUSTRALIAN take on the English Arrow/Hunter. The grill, steering wheel and collapsible section, along with front Parker/Indicator lens and the rear tail light section was a CHRYSLER AUSTRALIA modification. Along with the HUSTLER, the 660 ROYAL, HUNTER and SAFARI were "Aussie-ified" and were designated as the HE model.
Modifications
A VERY RARE IN ORIGINAL 46,000 MILES ON THE "CLOCK" CONDITION, COMPLETE WITH ORIGINAL FACTORY WHEELS with aluminium centre caps, and a matching numbers engine.
IT is BUILD #117 AUG/1970 out of POSSIBLY 700. If you have one of these VERY RARE cars, I'd like to hear from you!! Myself and Garry from NSW have the only known HUSTLERS on the road in Australia at this time.
